Reiki & Seena
My first experience of Reiki was as a teenager in the late 90’s.
I received a treatment at the hands of my aunt to help with severe menstrual pain. The pain subsided rapidly after one session and I continued with my day. At the time, I dismissed it as a coincidence and promptly forgot about it.
Fast forward ten years and I found myself working in a job that I didn’t feel passionate about. The long working hours, intense workload and frequently hostile environment had left me feeling drained, depressed and desperate to find a better way to live.
I was also battling past childhood traumas and memories that I simply couldn’t let go of and I felt really, really stuck.
A colleague of mine suggested Reiki and that’s when I found Melanie Glanville from The Reiki Association.
Following my first Reiki session with Melanie, something changed. I remember drifting off into a deep sleep and awoke feeling incredibly relaxed and light.
I felt more like ‘Seena’ than I had done in years.
Soon after, I was drawn to learn Reiki for myself and I haven’t looked back since.
Reiki is now a way of life for me, and it has taught me so much over the years. I now live from a place of wonder and joy – something I didn’t think possible when I first embarked on this journey.
The road hasn’t been without its bumps and challenges – as is any path when trying to create a new and improved one.
Eventually the bumps become fewer and the path becomes smoother.
My wish for you is to create a life path that you truly want to walk on and will continually lift you up each and every day”
